What we do

The Trust supports local Brisbane charities through a range of grant rounds. Through the support of our valued donors, every year the Trust facilitates:

Two General Grant Rounds for up to $10,000
Two Ratepayer Grant Rounds for up to $10,000
Easter Grant Round where charities can apply for Easter Eggs and small cash grants of up to $1000 to support a special meal service over the Easter long weekend.
Christmas Grant Round where charities can apply for children’s toys, foodbank and grocery vouchers, small cash grants of up to $2000 to host a Christmas Party and up to $1000 to support a special meal service over the festive season.

Out of Session Grants

As well as our annual grant calendar, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust is committed to supporting priority causes through our programs. This approach enables the Trust to agilely make donations for projects or assist charities that are in emergent need.
